
Project Caring Action 8000 (PCA 8000) Association Ltd is an independent registered charitable institution by Hong Kong SAR. The main goal of the association is, by conquering mountains higher than 8,000 metres, to show determination of strong will and confidence in overcoming difficulties, and at the same time contributes donation raised during mountaineering to different charitable organizations for different applications and purposes.
The institution had first participated in charity in 2006 when John Tsang, Chairman of PCA 8000, organized a charitable event – Mighty Rover 2006, to build a local school in Kenya, Africa, and raised funds for World Vision. The satisfactory gained in helping needy people is the motive for John to bring up the idea of setting up a charitable organization.

Annual charitable fundraising organization caring for humanity and personal challenges through means of mountaineering expeditions:

- To further and extend the spirit of the self-sufficiency and sustainability;
- To act as a catalyst for promotion of team working spirit;
- To foster and promote caring attitude to the needs in community;
- To financially support the beneficiaries through comradeship with other non-profit making institutions by raising funds through arranging activities of mountaineering those mountains above 8,000m in the world.
- To encourage our youth in participation and sharing of our vision;
- To participate in all such things as may be deemed incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objects or any of them.
